My name is Carol Clyde.  I love teaching 5th grade.  I received my Bachelor's degree from  Indiana University and my Master's Degree from Northwestern University. One of my favorite children's books is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch.  

This summer I have been babysitting my 5 month old grandson, Jack, and my 5 month old puppy, Wally.  In my spare time I love to hang out with my husband, 3 daughters and their families, ride my bike, walk my dog, and catch up on pleasure reading at the beach.

Heather McIsaac

My name is Heather McIsaac.  I teach 5th grade here at Allen Elementary.  I received my bachelors degree at Michigan State University and my Masters in International Studies through Concordia University.  

My current favorite children's book is The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson.  I love this book because it emphasizes the power of being brave to tell our unique stories.  The first day of school is The Day We Begin to create our classroom community and see the beauty of connection, understanding, and compassion towards others' perspectives and experiences.   When I am not teaching, I love to spend my spare time reading, traveling, playing board games, exploring nature, and enjoying my friends and family. I have two cats and two kids who are both Allen Eagles. 

Megan Bak

Hello! My name is Mrs. Bak and I will be your teacher this year!  Since we will be spending a lot of time together, I thought I would tell you a little about myself! 

I am 30 years old.  I LOVE board games.  My favorite board game is Villainous.  I also enjoy golf, spending time with my family, reading, and going on walks.  

I also LOVE teaching! I went to Western Governors University for my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education) and my master's degree in Learning and Technology.  This is my seventh year teaching fifth grade! 

 I have two awesome dogs, Cash and Finn.  Cash is a four year-old Zuchon and Finn is a one year-old mini Bernese Mountain Dog.  I also have 3 cats, Zeus, Annabelle, and Mr. Wiggles.
