Dear Allen K-4th Grade Families:

The Allen Elementary ThinkStretch study sessions originally scheduled for the University Townhouses/Braeburn clubhouse have been relocated to Bryant Elementary, Room 207Although the scheduled day and time for these sessions is unchanged: Wednesdays, 1-2:15pm, with sessions beginning June 24 and ending August 26, the final two sessions on8/19 & 8/26 will not take place at Bryant, but at a location to be announced later in the summer.

From Braeburn Circle, take the walkway from University Townhouses to Forest Hills Cooperative onto Shadowood, to right on Blaine, to walkway through park adjoining school grounds.  From Hikone, walk through Brown Park and cross over I-94 on walkway overpass, entering Forest Hills Co-Op onto Plainview Ct., to left on Hemlock Dr., to right on Shadowood, to right on Blaine, to walkway through park adjacent to school.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and enjoy your summer and your ThinkStretch

(Please note date corrections for the Allen and Hickory Pointe sessions, incorrectly specified on the handout sent home Friday, June 12.)

All sessions are entirely optional, but provide a fun alternative for students to complete their weekly activities side-by-side with other Allen students.

Allen is the only school in the AAPS District to receive the "Evergreen" Green School Certification from the State of Michigan this year.

We hope to continue to teach our students the importance of doing our part to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
